Boy, you guys are going to think i am a total flake! I have gotten a bit busy all of a sudden.....life stuff more than work...i'll tell you a bit more about it when i 'update' but one of my best friends in the world has got stage 4 breast cancer and i am spending a lot of time just goofing around right now....ie..shirking all my responsibilities as an adult to sit in the sun, drink beer, laugh, cry...etc. Sometimes that is just more important than being a "responsible adult". Right now it is. The weather here is fantastic (FINALLY) so we are taking advantage of it.

I have an audition tomorrow but i am around tomorrow night. Will get to questions then. I really will!

Hey Sam! Of course we don't think you are a flake! We all respect the fact that you are a busy woman...whether with work or with supporting your friend. Give her all our love and support. I know what it is like when a friend has cancer, so I wish her a lot more great friends like you who can help her through this time.

Oh Sam, I'm so sorry about your friend. I think goofing around is the right thing to be doing right now. Sometimes the quality of our lives is more important than the quantity. Take advantage of the sun, and the time you have together and enjoy life, however you can.

Oh I am sorry to hear about your best friend has breast cancer. How sweet of you that you take care of your best friend. I bet your best friend so glad that you spent with her. Your best friend is come first than computer. I pray for your best friend get better soon.

You are doing the very best thing you can do for your friend. We Cancer Warriors know that the best thing we can be is _there_.

My best friend in the world (who is also my husband) has been battling stage three liver cancer for the last eighteen months. I've wished many times for something as simple as a silver bullet for it. Cancer saps from it's victims everything it can and it is up to warriors like us to give them the love and hope they need. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your friend.

So sorry Sam. Tell your friend to never give up. My sister beat lympoma 6 years ago(she had a stem cell replacement) and my best friend's dad was given 6 months to live with pancreatic cancer. That was 14 years ago! He is now 83 and doing well. So hang in there miracles do happen.

Hey Sam, that are terrible news. I'm so sorry to hear that your friend has breast cancer. Take all time in the world for her, because you are right - sometimes that is the best thing to do. You are there for her and being a friend is sometimes more important than everything.
